H-FARM International School serves a diverse and growing community of students and families. It offers a broad based education which uses English as the language of instruction and learning and which aims to promote international mindedness and global citizenship.

ACADEMICS

The school is authorised by the IB to offer two programmes, the Primary Years Programme (Early Years Unit (EYU) and Elementary) and Middle Years Programme. The Early Years Unit (EYU) is also inspired by Reggio Children beliefs, values and practices. The International Baccalaureate (IB) Programmes provide a challenging, internationally focused and balanced educational experience across the Primary Years (PYP) and Middle Years (MYP) Programmes.

To provide the complete IB continuum, H-FARM International School Treviso and Gentium Schola Opitergium of Oderzo joined together, using their combined knowledge and experience in nurturing talents, in order to provide both Italian and international students with unparalleled academic and life experiences. The International School of Talents – Multicampus provides the IB’s Diploma Programme – an engaging curriculum entirely taught in English that prepares students to access the most prestigious universities and colleges in the world.

UNIQUE PROGRAMS

One of H-FARM’s most distinctive features is that it is an ecosystem that harnesses the power of research and innovation to serve the educational needs of young people.

Research conducted within the school has referenced the H-FARM philosophy to identify the approaches and methods best suited to meet current educational challenges. Over time, the school has evolved its own, individual approach that combines the IB with multiple elements that encourage students to develop digital and interpersonal skills.

THE BOARDING EXPERIENCE

H-FARM’s boarding community is home to more than 70 Boarders from more than 15 countries in 6 different continents. Students are supported by an entire staff of House parents and Residence life coordinators. Double and single rooms are available with weekly cleaning (daily cleaning of bathroom) and linen change (sheets/towels). Students have access to common spaces, laundry facilities and can enjoy afternoons in the Campus library, sports complex or AMOR, the on-campus bistrot and coffee shop.

SPARE TIME

During the week, the students have the entire Campus at their disposal. Thus, afternoons during the school week can be spent catching up on schoolwork in the Library, on the various sports fields of the athletic complex or enjoying some free time with friends in the common areas or Campus coffee shop.

On the weekend, students enjoy the best of what the local area has to offer – day trips to Venice, Verona, the nearby Dolomite mountains or the nearby beaches of the surrounding seaside.
